Moms and Kids Get All Crafty!

At the beginning of her craft demonstration, crafter Amber Folkman says, “The best way to be a good example to your children is to show them that you are alive, that you are passionate about something.”

And certainly, this mom of three knows how to be alive. The blogger behind A Momma Abroad, Amber shows not only her passion for exploring the many things that make the Philippines a great country, she also has resourcefulness and creativity for making beautiful things.

As it turns out, she was not alone. The moms who participated in Mommy Mundo’s Get Crafty MomSchool workshop were very much into things handmade, and they were excited to hear what Amber had to share with them.

The workshop featured a popular line of crafting machines, Cricut. Cricut Philippines, the official distributor of Cricut and Cuttlebug products and accessories in the country, hopes to unleash the creative spirit in each and everyone.

One of the machines which Amber presented was the Cricut Explore Air 2. It’s an electronic cutting machine which can produce professional looking DIY projects in minutes. It can cut over 100 materials, from cardstock to vinyl to come up with business cards, small boxes, and envelopes, among others.

It was indeed a fun and fulfilling morning!
