Kate Moynihan-Gonzalez, a mom of three, founder of Kate Moynihan Wellness, Spa Simplified. is a Certified Aesthetician and Massage Therapist, Wellness Experience Designer, Certified Yoga Teacher, People Acuity Guide, Aromatherapist, and Health Coach. She carries with her great wisdom and many changed lives in her 20 years of experience in the Spa industry. Kate gives talks and workshops to help other people live better. Her positive and happy energies are felt and create a ripple effect every time she talks, teaches, and passes on knowledge.
She strongly believes in what Jenna Kutcher said that “When women support each other, incredible things happen.” This is the reason why she’s passionate about improving herself through learning and be the best at it. She also ensures to use the learning to be of service to others’ well-being. For Kate, helping hands are healing hands. Healing one person at a time is giving back to the community. Just like what Christiane Northrup said, “Every woman who heals herself, helps heal all women who came before her, and all those who come after her.” And Kate is a beautiful testament that helping through healing others can come in full circle and this is the answer to making our world a littler better each day.
Passing On Empowerment Through Learning, Healing, And Giving Back
With this mission in her mind and heart, Kate created a channel called Healing Hands Academy where she teaches and personally trains moms from underprivileged communities and makes them skilled massage therapists. Through Kate, her therapist moms end up with gainful employment plus a marketable skill they take with them for their entire lifetime.
“What I would like to pass on is empowerment. Empowerment through skills in the wellness and spa industry. We work with underprivileged mothers and give them different skill sets of body work and skin therapy and fulfill work with different spas in our country. We promote that you hire from your local neighborhood so you that you give moms from those areas work and they’re able to support their children and families. Kate Moynihan Wellness was created so that education with moms , young moms, for them to know that they can take charge of their children’s well-being . I believe that nature has wonderful chest of healing modalities and that we should make use of them.”
Being a mother of three wonderful daughters, she shares that she teaches by example. So she’s a happy, loving, and empowering mother to them. Kate wishes to pass on to them the value of being happy, being accountable, and to live a very much awake lives.
