Hop on over to Rockwell Tent on April 8 for Easter Art Splash, a fun-filled Easter Sunday of crafting activities for kids, great performances by artists, raffle promos, and more.

Let your young trooper unleash his or her inner Picasso and try his/her hand at clay sculpting, plaster painting, bead making, string-a-linging, and cookie painting at any of the art stations. It’s a different kind of Easter celebration. What’s even better is they get to bring their creations home!

A live mural painting by the dynamic My Masterpiece Movement, a new-fangled magician’s act with art materials, balloon twisting, bubble show, and impromptu games hosted by the lively Peps Avecilla are all in store for those who come.

One P550 ticket is good for one child and an adult companion plus one raffle entry for any of the 3 iPod Nanos up for grabs (the kids get to pick out the color too!). An additional P100 can also be bought for one more grown-up chaperone, if desired. And there’s the much-anticipated egg hunt of course! The program starts at 2pm, so dash like the Easter Bunny to the Power Plant Mall to join the fun! Rockwell Land has also prepared an exclusive Easter Sunday event for Rockwell residents and Rockwell club members from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The first 300 kids to pre-register until April 4 get to do plaster painting, clay sculpting, goodie box making, and sport glitter tattoos.KathangKamay will regale the Rockwell community with live mural painting while 9 Works Theatrical stages musical numbers. A magic show, balloon crafts by Jiggles, the balloon lady and a shadow play by My Masterpiece Movement will be shown at the Rockwell Tent. Plus, the egg hunt awaits small kids at the Archaeology Wing of Power Plant Mall and big kids at the West Block Oval Garden!Guests can also play Art Bingo and win an iPad 2!
