Breathing in peace and calmness seems like the best way to counter the flotsam and jetsam of our everyday lives. Not only does practicing meditation reduce stress and increase concentration, it will also make us more self-aware and yes, happier! The Kabbalah Centre Philippines hopes to give more people a genuinely meaningful meditation practice through its one-day “experiential” seminar on March 20, 2017, Monday. New York-based Kabbalah Teacher Sarah Weston will lead the meditation class, which is highly recommended for people who love to meditate as well as those who want to learn how.
Weston, who started teaching Kabbalah in 2004, says, “For some, it comes naturally, and for others it is a skill that needs nurturing and practice to be developed. There are many benefits to meditation on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Through elevating our consciousness to heightened states of vibration, we can connect to our divine essence, cleanse negativity, open our hearts, and feel love.”
“What makes Kabbalistic meditation different is that it allows us to tune into a vast network of life-sustaining thoughts while cleansing the negative ones from our midst. Kabbalah, as a spiritual teaching – not a religious one– shows in detail how to navigate that vast terrain in order to remove every form of chaos, pain, and suffering. Its purpose is to bring clarity, understanding, and freedom to our lives.”
The Kabbalistic Meditation Seminar is the first of many upcoming events that will be held at the new Kabbalah Centre in Makati.
Weston, who also oversees the Kabbalah Centre’s work in Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Japan, says, “This is the first Kabbalah Centre in Asia. We have been building the study group for 10 years. It’s a remarkable result of all of the years of effort of our committed and selfless students. I have taught Kabbalah in many countries throughout the world, but Filipinos are so special. They have such a natural openness to spirituality and giving nature. I feel very blessed to work with such caring souls.”
Kabbalistic Meditation is a one-night event open to everyone including non-Kabbalah students. Registration fee is P500 for members (discounted) and regular fee is P1,000. Good news: Mommy Mundo passport holders enjoy a 50% discount off the regular price.
The seminar will take place at Kabbalah Centre Philippines, 2F 5921 Algier Street, Barangay Poblacion, Makati. Register here. For more information, call 809-4217.
