Nicole Suarez, a mom of one, is a financial consultant specifically for women, targeting moms. She started out in the financial industry as a financial planner for an insurance company. But she didn’t want to feel limited. So she set set herself for a bigger mission and became a consultant to help moms grow their finances and manage their wealth wisely.

Before she became successful in this chosen path, she admitted to have experienced struggles in her personal finances. She shares that her grandmother used to advice her to save and she wouldn’t understand the reason why. Back then she would spend unapologetically on shopping especially on designer bags. Until she got pregnant with her first born. She wasn’t prepared for it and everything else that came with motherhood and family. Giving birth to her daughter became her breakthough to realizing that her grandma was right all along. She got her life together and from that time on, everything turned around.

Most moms would say having a child gives direction, meaning, and purpose for a mom’s life. This is true for Nicole. She learned it the hard way, but there was no other way but up. She started to handle her personal finances wisely.

Passing On The Value Of Financial Literacy And Freedom

When Nicole worked hard on learning everything she needed to know about finances and managing it, she looked back and said to herself that financial literacy is basic – and it should be basic. After talking to and managing her clients’ finances, she saw the sad truth that sometimes moms end up financially depending on other people like their parents or their husbands. And this fueled her to begin her mission.

“What motivates me is seeing my client progress from being anxious and confused about her money to becoming clear and confident about her future. It’s an awesome feeling being financially independent. You become your daughter’s role model, your sister’s role model.”

She added, “Women still face unique challenges when it comes to personal finances, it’s about time that we take responsibility and control of our money.”

Nicole is passionate about educating women, especially moms about setting their financial goals, saving for the future like their children’s education or their retirement at whatever stage they are in their lives no matter how little or how much, as long as they start and decide to be financially free, by taking control of their own money.
