Chal Del Rosario, host, stage actress & owner of Jeron Travel
People know Chal Lontoc for her high energy and one-of-a-kind stage presence. When she’s not doing impromptu comedy for Silly People’s Improv Theater (SPIT) Manila, she’s hosting the latest events around the Metro. It’s quite evident that Chal loves the stage and her audiences love her back.
If you had asked Chal a few years ago what her line of expertise was, she would have said it was media. But several life experiences proved that her true passion was actually very close to home.
Jeron Travel is Chal’s family business. She was bitten by the travel bug early on. She travelled, joined adventure races, and explored the world. “Then my mom passed away and I had my first child. I was hesitant (to take on the business), only to realize that travel and experience have always been part of my life,” she shared.
For Chal, each day is a step forward and none of it is wasted. She lives for moments and experiences that continually remind her that the journey is more important than the destination. Now that she’s a mom, she takes family travel seriously, completely set on sharing her view of the world with her husband and kids.
“Travel has become our family’s form of education. And I really hope that when they grow up, in the same way my mom did with me, they see all the learnings they earned with each travel,” Chal adds.
“My mompowerment moment is being able to provide myself, my kids, my husband, my family, and even other moms new experiences. I will pay for experience—for these little thrills in life that create memories,” Chal adds. Jeron Travel gives her the platform to do just that.
