Mommy Mundo 2022 Recap

If there was a word to describe the past three years for the Mommy Mundo community, it would be “unforgettable.” Together, we helped each other weather the unknowns of a global pandemic, lockdowns, distance learning, and more. And as a community, we were flexible and inclusive to learn, shop, and bond over a digital space. 

We made it, and the Mommy Mundo community is stronger than ever! 

2022 found us moms optimistic to meet in person again. And by April of last year, we celebrated a newfound togetherness as we merged the best of virtual and in-person gatherings to hybrid events that highlight the amazing parenthood experience we moms are blessed with. 

Here’s a recap of last year’s events that made the Mommy Mundo community be felt, heard, and seen by fellow moms. 

January 2022

During the Omicron surge last January 2022, we moms hunkered down to be better prepared through FB Live sessions on COVID care, featuring Community Stories and expert-advice on what parents need to know about COVID.

February 2022

February online events were all about growth– growth of a baby inside Mommy’s tummy, and medical conditions affecting children’s physical growth. Pregnant Pause was a guide to the ins and outs of pregnancy. And the discussion called Growing Up But Not Growing gave insight on how Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) may be affecting our children’s height. 

March 2022

We celebrated Women’s Month by honoring the CEO’s of the home- Mom! We had a Real Mom Talk Show that discussed the realities of motherhood. We also honored mompreneurs who run their homes and their businesses with an event called Women Who Hustle, brought to us by our sister community, Mompreneurs Together. 

April 2022

After a virtual episode of Pregnant Pause at the start of the month, we all got together for three exciting events last April 2022. We shared motherhood stories and adventures at the Momfluence Gathering. Then we welcomed each and every Mommy Mundo Mom home during the  awaited kick-off of Expo Mom online and in-person last April 23 and 24. Then, a group of moms quieted down from the excitement of the month over a very special MIndful Mom Retreat. 

May 2022

To celebrate the month of Mother’s Day, we came together as a community to learn more about breastfeeding, skincare, face to face classes, and taking care of ourselves. Real Mom Conversations with Baby Dove, Everything Parenting, and Baby Love were the three online events that our momma-hood watched out for. 

June 2022

From Mother’s Day, we move to Father’s Day. While we still celebrated moms with MM Hangouts and a Breast Friends Session online, we put dads on the spotlight with Daddy Mundo Father’s Day video. 

July 2022

Mompreneurs consumed business and marketing information from seasoned entrepreneurs, marketers, and digital experts at the 4th Mompreneur Summit last July 23. The summit was held online and guests maximized all the bandwidth they could to take in business knowledge, lessons of courage, and empowerment from the 2-day summit. 

August 2022

Expo Mom happened last August 13-14 at the Glorietta Activity Center. The much-awaited Expo showcased lots of shopping, learning, and tons of community love. Expo Mom has always been committed to its vision of being the source of parenting trends and information, the wellspring of modern mommy products and services, and the launchpad for exciting campaigns, inspiring advocacies, and groundbreaking ideas.

September 2022

For years, Pregnant Pause has been helping expectant moms prepare for their motherhood journey with prenatal workshops. Expecting moms gathered last September 17 for an online session of Pregnant Pause. The Mommy Mundo community gathered online again on September 30 to have an important online discussion about COVID-19 in children. 

October 2022

Another round of Expo Mom happened at TriNoma to celebrate our connection to Mother Earth. Expo Mom TriNoma featured a packed 2-day program where moms learned how to nurture themselves and take care of the planet. We also celebrated our founder’s birthday with two events, Be in Light and Ride in Light. 

November 2022

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially with Expo Mom Holidays bringing cheer and unbeatable deals– just in time for Christmas shopping. Since Christmas is a time of giving back, we also took time to give back to the planet by learning how to be eco-warriors at an online session called Eco-Parenting at Home #LiveCleanLiveGreen. Then we closed with another round of MM Hangouts for our year-end reflection. 

What about December? The Mommy Mundo team understands how the holidays take over. And that’s why we let you focus on your family, loved ones, and all the happy events that happen during this season. We’re still there with you whipping exciting ideas for community events in 2023, and we can’t wait to see you at one of them in the coming months!
