Finina Tugade-Castillo is a mom of one and a techpreneur with several startups under her belt. She carries with her a 12-year experience in fashion and finance. She’s also exposed to different businesses being a board director in their family’s diverse group of companies. But one of her favorites is Ground Gurus.

What sets her apart is where her mompreneur heart is at, Finina has infused in her business the advocacy to maximize the business of technology for both ends of the production line, both the clients of her company, Ground Gurus, as well as the tech builders in her team. She utilizes her business-savvy to balance profitabillity for her and her partners, while providing clients with smart yet cost effective solutions to grow their business through tech. Finina has the magic of balancing the goals of various stakeholders, and this is because of her clear purpose of decoding the biz of tech for everyone involved and making it win-win for all.

Passing On The Value Balancing Mom And Entrepreneur Life

Having a background in different business models helped Finina master the art of simplifying and organizing even the most complex systems or process in an organization. This special skill can be attributed to her mom who had greatly influenced her since she was little.

Looking back at what mom was teaching her, she had an aha moment when she became a mom herself, she shared, “Wow that’s what she meant and that was where it was all coming from.”

Hence, she passes on this value to everyone she works with, clients and partners, and especially to the people she handles. too. She applies this value in every training and imparting IT knowledge in the number of companies under her belt. “I want to make entrepreneurs and SMEs’ visions come to life at an affordable price through training, web development, as well as making logistics more efficient.”

“One of my favorite things that I learned from my mom that I find really useful now is how organization and making shortcuts work for you to be able to balance mom and entrepreneur life.”

More than being a successful entrepreneur, Finina finds joy in finding the balance of being able to contribute to the community by helping startup companies and doing what she’s passionate about but at the same time being able to spend quality time with her family.
