Hello Kitty is coming to Manila! On December 20, 2016, Hello Kitty, the beloved global icon, comes to Manila with her own musical, Hello Kitty Live – Fashion & Friends. Premiering at the Meralco Theater, it will run until January 1, 2017.

This entertaining holiday treat finds Hello Kitty in London as a young, modern girl, dreaming of a bright future. But of course, every dream comes with any number of challenges. Fortunately, Hello Kitty can always count on her awesome friends for assistance. There’s her best friend and classmate, My Melody, who is blessed with a cool fashion sense and a great sense of humor. There’s her childhood buddy, who is also her boyfriend, Dear Daniel. Hello Kitty also has for a friend the happy-go-lucky, Pom Pom Purin.

Rounding out this mad squad are Bad Badtz-Maru, the adventure-loving scoundrel who gets the gang on exciting escapades, Mimmy, Hello Kitty’s sweet and shy sister, and Sophie, who’s funny and cool and wants to be a model.

Woven into this story of friendship, talent, and hard work are interactive scenes and dance numbers combined with fantastic fashion and costumes specially designed by Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand Tokidoki. Original animations on mega HD led walls and cutting-edge special effects take this fun musical into a whole new level of theater experience.
