Our hearts remain filled with the warm takeaways o

Our hearts remain filled with the warm takeaways of our mom attendees at #MomCon, as they showed us how the day filled with learnings gave them new perspectives on the power of connection.

Track 4 on Connection Activities and Networking gave mom attendees a chance to share their important takeaways with each other. The comments shared to audiences like, “this event is so needed,” “we want a retreat next time,” “when is the next one,” truly inspired us.

Daily Affirmation cards were pulled and it was amazing how moms felt deeply connected by these.

We closed Track 4 with a gentle hand to heart breathwork tool as a reminder to moms that we are always enough.

Huge thanks to our Track 4 wellbeing coaches and facilitators who helped to end the event in a high note, giving everyone a heartfelt connection experience.

It is human nature to fear what we don’t understand. At #MomCon, one of the topics we tackled was AI.

In Track 3, Connection with the World Around Us, Catz Jalandoni shared her insights on AI. She is the Country Director for the Phils. at the Global AI Council that advocates for democratized education for ethical AI, and for the country to integrate and implement it.

Catz shared, “AI is based on how you use it. It is your prompt that will show creativity. It is a tool.”

We hope you learned to see AI with less fear and more curiosity, coming from Catz’s insights.

At #MomCon we learned that connection is at the he

At #MomCon we learned that connection is at the heart of authentic relationships and it is what we need to address the top 12 urgent concerns of parents today.

In Track 3, Connecting with the World Around Us, we were treated to great insights from Roki Ferrer, Head of Data at Dentsu International, who talked about Understanding Generations to build authentic relationships with our children.

Roki shared the wealth of data from Dentsu-led research and shared the differences in generations in terms of the content they consume, how they lead and the things that matter to them.

Seeing the data, Roki sees the critical need for us to widen our perspectives, be open and curious, so we can authentically connect with the younger generations as opposed to sticking to our generational beliefs and creating dissonance as a result.

Majority of kids today are Gen Z’s so according to Roki, specific to those born from 1997-2010, “For Gen Z’s, mental health is a right, not a stigma. 55% of Gen Z’s (the highest across generations) openly state they are concerned about their mental health. 50% of them would like to seek professional help. Never invalidate their concerns on mental health; it is the No. 1 way to disconnect with them.”

We hope Roki’s talk opened your eyes to how being closed minded or holding on to old beliefs and judgments may be the blockages that keep us from truly connecting with our children. Every human, whatever generation they may be, yearns to be seen and accepted as they are so they can feel safe to truly be themselves, authentic and connected.
