R2R Living, the line of stylish, artisanal, and functional home pieces by Rags2Riches, recently launched its newest collection in collaboration with Marilen Faustino-Montenegro. An interior stylist who manages her own design company, Marilen specializes in houses, condos, and model units. She is also a mom of two.

“I’ve always known R2R for their bags so I was pleased to learn that they also did home products. I immediately wanted to collaborate with them,” Marilen says. She also shares the same vision as Rags2Riches: of empowering artisans living in impoverished communities across the country.

The R2R Living x Marilen.ph Collection offers pieces that are both beautiful and functional. Comfy cylindrical poufs in salmon pink and turquoise will make great additions to the den or living room. These are made of hand-crocheted upcycled, overstock fabric with fiber filling. Indoor plants will find a good home in the collection’s pretty planters.

“I am a believer of investing in good organizing accessories so the floor plant holders and trays were a must,” Marilen said.

There are hanging planters made of upcycled, overstock fabric using hand macrame technique as well as hand-crocheted floor planters made of solid-colored upcycled, overstock fabric, with leather handles. Keeping laundry off the floor is easy with handsome hand-crocheted hampers from the new collection. Since its launch in 2014, R2R Living has remained committed to bringing stylish and sustainable designs into Filipino homes.
