This March 24, mark your calendars for two exciting events! Baby Love: A Baby Care Workshop for Expectant Moms and Dads
No one is ever ready to be a parent. When the baby shower is over and the hospital bag is packed, the only thing left to do is get the baby out!
Childbirth is an amazing, life-changing experience. But it can also be daunting, filled with a checklist of questions you need to answer along the way.
Baby Love is a baby care workshop that brings in the experts to ensure moms and dads take care of their babies the best possible way. It’s going to happen this March 24, 2018, from 1pm to 4pm, at Crowne Plaza, Ortigas.
There’s always something new to learn about breastfeeding. Baby Love will have a module on frequently asked questions about breast feeding, including breast feeding positions and techniques to be led by Dr. Jamie Isip Cumpas. We’ll then talk about baby wearing tips every mom and dad need to know.
Stay tuned for more updates about what’s in store for Baby Love! The event is free but pre-registration is a must. You can sign-up at http://bit.ly/BabyLove2018.
Mom School 3.0: Teaching your kids to love themselves from the inside out
Our kids do as they see, not as they’re told. Parents play a crucial role in shaping their child’s body image. Because we mold our kids’ perception of themselves, we need to practice what we preach. When we lead by example, we teach them to be grateful for all our physical qualities and capabilities.
As they grow older, kids become more sensitive about their weight and body image. We need to be intentional and careful with the words we use in our home and our dealings. And as we model self-love, we need to take every opportunity to learn tools to encourage positive body image so that our young ones develop good self-esteem.
Momschool 3.0 takes on the very important topic of raising confident kids by teaching them positive body talk at an early age. You’ll also learn how to handle your daughter’s difficult questions about the way she perceives herself. We invite moms to come and benefit from this learning event.
Life Coach Aurora Suarez will be leading the discussion on developing personal strategies in sending positive messages about body image. Aurora M. Suarez is a certifiedCourageous Living life and career coach, writer and speaker. She helps women get the clarity to discover what they truly want, make courageous choices and take powerful action to change their lives.
Momschool happens on March 24, 2018, from 9am to 12nn at the Crown Plaza Ortigas. The event is free but pre-registration is a must, so head on over to http://bit.ly/Momschool2018.
Momschool partners with The Dove Self-Esteem Project, an advocacy on raising girls with body and beauty confidence.
