For the third month of Mommy Mundo’s #MindYourMind campaign, we’re looking at relationships and how we moms can take the time to enrich and make the most out of every moment we have with one of the key people in our lives: our spouses! The Into the Mom Mind survey revealed that 97% of moms list their relationship with their kids as most important. This is followed by the relationship with their husband.
Remembering Minnie
In March 2021 the Mommy Mundo community had to say goodbye to Minnie Jumaquio, the mompreneur behind the very popular and proudly local brand, the SnugaHug multi use pillow, which helped many moms get through pregnancy and breastfeeding with greater ease. Her other brands are Wallaby Mommy and Stampin Tots. With these she was a regular at the ExpoMom and other Mommy Mundo events since 2014.
5 Statistiscs You Didn’t Know About Filipino Moms
In the first quarter of 2021, Mommy Mundo, with the help of Good Thinking, conducted a survey for and among Filipino moms. Answered by 1,700 moms from all over the country, the first-of-its-kind survey revealed different facets, aspects, and the psyche of the modern Filipino mother. Survey results showed that Filipino moms are very involved with their children and tend to have a progressive mindset.

Momshare 2021: Heartworks Healing

This year, Momshare teamed up with FabFourMama, Leah Eriguel, in a project that delivered Writing & Resilience workshops to public school teachers in Quezon City.
The Lifelong Bonds of Breastfed Children
Breastfeeding provides physical and emotional comfort to infants. Being able to suck while being held close, and–very often–with skin-to-skin contact, helps decrease anxiety, promote a sense of calm, and give a sense of happiness and security. All of these promote a strong sense of trust–from the infant towards its mother. This trust is the foundation of the infant’s bond and attachment to their mother.
