Momshare 2021: Heartworks Healing

For over half a decade Mommy Mundo has provided avenues for moms to share their time and resources with the less fortunate through MomShare, a project funded by the proceeds from Mommy Mundo events and activities.  This year, Momshare teamed up with FabFourMama, Leah Eriguel, in a project that delivered Writing & Resilience workshops to public school teachers in Quezon City. 

Held on the Fridays of June 2021, the activity aimed to teach the teachers 

• the importance of self-care

• why putting themselves first can be a good thing

• understanding their love languages so as to receive the right love language

and more.

Each session featured breakout rooms of 3-5 teachers, allowing participants to share their learnings as they performed their activities.  Each participant received a self-care kit for participating, and despite some connectivity issues, the sessions were well attended.

With around 15,000 school teachers in Quezon City, Momshare hopes to reach all of them through the next runs of these events.
