ExpoMom 2021: Mindful Choices, Mommy Mundo’s first ExpoMom of the year, was held on May 29-30, 2021 online via Facebook Live. The event reached over 9,000 moms and dads from all over the Philippines, and parts of Europe and America. For two days, Mommy Mundo delivered insightful talks, panel discussions, and mini-seminars all geared towards their monthly theme of helping moms Mind Your Mind and practice conscious consumption.
The Vice President of the Philippines, the Honourable Leni Robredo opened the online expo on the first day with a special address on motherhood and m The day proceeded with talks from Kate Moynihan-Gonzales (who led a pause exercise); the Baby Dove sponsored segment: Quality Time with Our Babies, hosted by Patricia Hizon for Iam Serrano (@iamdelightfulhimig) and Mia Domingo (@theparentinprogress); Mindful Consumption with Christine Dychiao, the Philippines’ first certified Konmari consultant; the Sanofi sponsored segment which looked at health essentials and what should be in family first aid kits with Dr. Janys Lim, Chessy Alejandro, and Dette Zulueta; the Huggies sponsored segment on diapering tips with Peevee dela Rosa; and lots of shopping tips, tricks, and advice from Rowena Wendy Lei, Kaye Catral, and Dara David Roa.
On Day 2, standout segments included FWD’s talk on financial mindfulness with Feliz & Jayjay Lucas; Enfagrow NuraProFour’s segment on natural and healthy choices for kids, featuring Dr. Jossie Rogacio and Em Sulit; and PLDT Home’s talk on creating an intentional life and being a #mindfulmom, where celebrities Jackie Lou Blanco, LJ Reyes, and Nikki Gil-Albert drove the audience through a range of emotions (tears included) as they talked about their unique motherhood experiences.
