Of the many, one of the more creative businesses born was Tablescape Kitz (@tablescapealabang). That’s “kitz” with a “z” named after the mom behind the business, Kitz Congmon.
Tablescape Alabang is a pandemic solution for those wanting to do intimate gatherings (very popular in pandemic years) with family and friends. It allows them to celebrate life’s moments in style, without hiring suppliers and being anxious about health protocols. The concept is simple: Kitz has pre-set tablescapes that are delivered to your home in a plastic tub. Instructions show you how to create a dreamy table set-up that makes it look like you hired a professional crew. If you find yourself lost in decoration, Kitz can also guide you through the steps via video call. Although a sneak peek at her Instagram account can also serve as a guide!
Kits cater to as few as four diners and as many as twelve. Each one comes with chargers, plates, cutlery, glasses, napkins, table runners, centerpieces or table decor. For those that prefer fresh cut flowers or plants (the kits come with dried or faux flowers), there are instructions and suggestions that you can easily follow and find materials for in your garden or local supermarket.
To get the party started, Kitz prepared pre-set themes to choose from, such as a Tropical theme, a Rustic theme, and more! However, for a truly special touch, Kitz can customize the tablescape for you, working with your chosen colours and theme.
One of the more attractive aspects of the concept is that moms no longer need to invest in different party decor to be assured a great party set-up, neither do they have tod a pretty penny to get that Instagram-worthy shot.
