Ark Avilon Zoo is the only indoor interactive zoo in the Philippines located in Frontera Verde, Pasig City. With a two storey building resembling the biblical Noah’s Ark, Ark Avilon Zoo is home to various friendly animals that guests can interact with. Kids and kids at heart can get up close and personal with JENNY the Bornean Orangutan, AYLA the Palawan Bearcat, NARDO and ALEX the Cockatoos, TYSON the Burmese Python, BUSTY the Pony, KRUSTY the Donkey and featuring Ark Avilon’s newest member ANDY and MERCY the Penguins and many more wildlife ambassadors. Kids can enjoy feeding rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep and other farm animals in the FARMLAND Fun Feeding Station. You can take pictures with our animals as well.
Avilon Zoo is currently the largest zoological institution in the Philippines in terms of land area and collection of animals. The 7.5 hectare facility located in Rodriguez, Rizal houses more than 3,000 specimens of exotic wildlife representing more than 500 species of birds, mammals reptiles, amphibians, freshwater fishes, and invertebrates. The zoo has a diverse collection of Philippine native and endemic fauna, most of which have been bred successfully in captivity through AVILON’s ex situ conservation programs. Guided tours and educational field trips offer guests the opportunity to learn about wildlife, their status in the wild, and conservation efforts being done to preserve these threatened species and to protect the environment.

The Manila Zoo has a land area of 5.5 hectares and has a current population of about 500 animals. There are 106 species, among which are 30 different kinds of mammals, 63 reptile species and 13 types of birds. In addition to popular zoo occupants such as elephant, tigers lions and the hippos, Manila Zoo also houses several endemic and indigenous species of animals like the bearcat, long-talied macaques and crocodiles. / Entrance non-residents P100, Manila residents P60 / Open daily from Mondays to Sundays
A 64.58-hectare (159.6-acre) zoological and botanical garden, the park has a lagoon, an aquarium, a playground, botanical garden, and a Wildlife Rescue Center, which the Department of Environment and Natural Resorces uses as a temporary shelter where confiscated, retrieved, donated, sick, abandoned, and injured wild animals are placed to be taken care of. The park houses several indigenous plants and animals such as crab-eating macaques, water monitors, Philippine deer, binturongs, and Palawan bearded pigs. / Entrance rates are Php8 for adults and Php 5 for kids. / Open daily from 7 AM to 5 PM.
